Jay and Stella are opposites drawn together. Jay is emotionless, and always has an icy control in almost everything he does. Stella appears to be strong, independent but social and full of emotions. Both however have trauma licking at their heels and informing all of their moves. Jay with his need for control in all things and his need to keep emotion and love out of his orbit and Stella, who on the surface appears to have no problems with Jay and their arrangement, but secretly longs for what she isn’t supposed to.
This hit at all the things I love in my romances – a cold, aloof at times mean hero and the reader goes on a rollercoaster of emotions through the journey the heroine takes as the story progresses.
This ends in a cliffhanger and involves some kink.
