This is the first book of Christine Besze, but I plan now to go back and read her previous ones. I’m also hoping we will see more books around various supporting characters in this one.
This was such a different and fun read. I’m normally not a huge fan when it’s age gap and the woman is the one older, but this very much worked for me. London Ramone is back home after losing her job when refusing to write about her brother, a member of a popular rock band. Sebastian or “Bash” as the fans know him best, has always had a crush on London and sees this as his opportunity to win her over. He talks her into coming on tour with them as their PA, and off we go with their relationship.
This was such an entertaining, fun, steamy and romantic story! It was almost a five star read for me. The only thing I would have loved more of, was her work as a PA. It’s referenced, but at no time do we get a glimpse into what that actually entails or means. There is a thread of suspense running throughout the story, and although I enjoyed that, the way it’s wrapped up in the end felt a bit rushed.
