If you are looking for a quick, sweet romance that is a safe read – this is definitely for you!
This book exists within the Happily Ever Alpha World and takes place around the time that Until Trevor takes place. Rex is an artist, but to make ends meet he works for both Mayson Construction and Teasers, so we a little bit of the Mayson men. Emilia is down on her luck, her mother abandoned her brother when she was just starting out at NYU on scholarship and she had leave school in order to take care of her younger brother who is struggling with a serious illness. To make ends meet, she takes a second job working at Teasers where she meets Rex.
This is an instalove book- Rex takes one look at Emilia and feels the Mayson curse and BOOM – realizes immediately Emilia is it for him. What follows is an incredibly sweet, light romance as Emilia and Rex get to know each other as well as the circle of people in both of their lives.
This is a very quick, light, sweet romance. Probably what I struggled with most was that although it’s very well written, it’s almost too sweet and light and the angst that occurs at the end is thrown in at the very end and feels slightly rushed. But if you are looking for a quick, sweet romance that is a safe read – this is definitely for you!
