I loved this – it’s such a sweet, romantic story.
I love that the couple in this are older – in their forties, and I very enjoyed that the complexities of all that entailed was not glossed over at all. Both having a baby at that age, and the family dynamics involved in this case. Hannah already has a very complicated situation, having had a teen pregnancy where her baby was raised as her brother instead of her son, and Jake had his daughter when only twenty and had to raise her all on his own. Complicating matters is that their relationship at the time Hannah falls pregnant is casual and their children are married to each other!
I loved reading about the family dynamics and watching how things unfold for them and how Jake and Hannah work through all of these complicated things and find their way together. This exactly the kind of book I love to read.
