A Gorgeous Villain is a standout and I highly recommend diving in!
I will admit I went into this one with some trepidation. Although I love a good alphahole, I definitely have a love/hate relationship with highschool bullys/alphaholes so I was incredibly nervous diving in. This book however was just AWESOME. A lot of the issues I can have surrounding books that start when they are in high school aren’t in A Gorgeous Villain, so it makes for a fabulous read.
Reed is most definitely a villain at the start. He has serious issues with his father and this informs and impacts the things he does. Despite making terrible decisions along the way, he absolutely redeems himself and proves himself deserving in the end. Callie is incredibly sweet at the start of this, but also surprises you as the story moves forward.
Callie is absolutely not a doormat and has no qualms standing up for herself. Saffron A. Kent does a fabulous job of deftly handling a heroine who knows how to not let people walk all over her, but is also not over the top fighting the hero on every little thing. A Gorgeous Villain is a standout and I highly recommend diving in!
