I loved everything about Fallon and Danny and the glimpses we get of some of the newer Henchmen. This is a great addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next one!
I have to admit that for the first time ever I started a Jessica Gadziala book with trepidation. I’ve definitely enjoyed meeting Danny and our glimpses of the chemistry that was obvious between her and Fallon, but was hesitant to jump into their books. Although I love reading about a female MC President, I’m not always so fond of romance book heroines that are hard or constantly battling with the hero over every move or decision. I should have known that Jessica Gadziala could be trusted to write a fantastic book and figure out how to balance that hardness and strength with softness and vulnerability. I started this, and forget getting any sleep, couldn’t put it down until I finished. Had to keep turning pages to see what happens next.
Danny has had a hard life. Raised with no mother, by her father in the MC life, all of her experiences have made her who she is. An MC President that has had to work hard to prove herself and fight for everything she has. Fallon, as Reign’s son, is a legacy in his MC and has not had to prove himself or fight for his position in the way that Danny has. Fallon does work hard, and make good decisions for them, but the Henchmen are a different kind of MC then the one Danny was raised in.
Reading about how these two come together and their off the charts, hot attraction as it burns up whenever they are near each other was intense. I loved everything about Fallon and Danny and the glimpses we get of some of the newer Henchmen. This is a great addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next one!
