Loved this romance of fated mates, with bear shifters, witches and a whole lot of intrigue and action!
This is the first of a new, paranormal series by Carrie Ann Ryan. I’ve recently discovered this author, and this is my first time reading a paranormal by her, and it definitely won’t be my last. I loved the world we are introduced to here, and felt like I was learning about it right alongside Sage as she also learned about who she is and what it means to be a witch and live in a world where things like witches and shifters are real. This is a fairly complex story with a lot going on from almost the very first page. I loved watching the relationship build between Rome and Sage- I’m a sucker for fated mates and from the first chapter when Rome realizes who Sage is to him, I was hooked. I can’t wait to read the next one and see what happens with everyone as the story continues.
