Fantastic new rejected mate book!
One of my favorite tropes is rejected mates, but there are only so many of them around. The minute I saw this, I JUMPED for it. Was so excited to dive in and I was NOT disappointed. The story opens 10 years after Niko has rejected Zee and she is off, isolated from pack, trying to live without them. Circumstances arise that put them back into contact and from there the story really begins. I love the world created here, and how complex and layered not only this story was, but all the characters were. I loved Zee’s brothers and Niko’s packmates and can’t wait to read more in this series.
This book has a lot of angst, but also a lot of steam and was everything I would want in a shifter, rejected mate book. I definitely would add this to the top of your TBR pile and I’m sure this will wind up being a re-read for me in the future!
