Steamy, fun and engaging age gap romance!
We had met both Lucinda and Savage in earlier books. Lucinda has been having a rough time finding her place in life. Her mother is evil and serving time in jail for what she had tried to do to Lucinda and since then Lucinda has been just sort of floating along in her life. Savage, the police detective involved in her case serves as an obsession for her and she has been stalking him for a while. Savage, almost as old as her father, is also somewhat obsessed with Lucinda but plans to keep his distance. However, things come to a head when Lucinda needs his help to protect her and they get married to achieve this goal.
This was a steamy age gap but you kept turning pages trying to figure out what was going on and how they were going to resolve all the problems. Parts of this were almost over the top, but it’s also what keeps it fun and engaging. Can’t wait to read Lawrence’s story!
