A romantic suspense filled with action, steam and lots of swoonworthy moments!
This is the second book in the Men of Hidden Justice series, and has many similarities to the first book. Marcus, like Matteo, stumbles upon Missy in deplorable conditions and whisks her away to safety. Marcus, though, is even more alpha and intense than even Matteo was. Missy is vulnerable and recovering from a horrible situation, but at the same time has inner strength and reserves. I loved watching the two of them throughout this story. Marcus is so protective and controlling, wanting to keep her safe, but at the same time could himself be vulnerable and open with her. This was a fantastic installment to the series.
