Victor is and incredibly suspenseful romance that deals with some heavy topics. Vance “Victor” Conlon takes one look at Sabine and becomes instantly drawn to her in a way he had been only one time before. Instantly his assignment goes off the rails, and what follows is and intense and suspenseful story. I’m not always the biggest fans of Insta-Love or Slow Burn, but I didn’t want to put this book down so I could see what would happen next. I was at turns frustrated with Sabine and Vance with the decisions they made, or didn’t make, along this journey but I loved reading this! If you love intense, emotional and suspenseful stories then this is for you, but you also have to be okay with slow burn because this is most definitely that. I have not yet yet the first book in this series and had no issue following along, but can’t wait now to go and grab that, and am most definitely looking forward to the next one!
