I thoroughly enjoyed reading this action-filled, intense romance.
Despite this being book 14 in the series, this is only my second Dark Protector’s book, and wow does this one pack a punch. It starts right off dropping you into intense action, and just keeps going from there. So much happens during the course of this book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this action-filled, intense romance. Honor has no idea that she is an “enhanced female” or what that meant. She knew she was different but not the why or truly even the how of it. Sam and her cross paths and from there their futures become intertwined. Despite only having read one of this series before, I was easily able to follow along. I loved that even though I’m new to this world, and it is a complicated one, Rebecca Zanetti is so talented that you are able to pick right up with what is going on, what the world is about and not feel lost or overwhelmed. If you are a fan of paranormal romance, vampire romance, or even just a good romantic suspense, then this is definitely worth picking up and reading!
