I’m loving this world and can’t wait for the next book!
Nothing But Ink is about Clay and Riggs, both are connected in with the Montgomery families. Clay has been welcomed into the fold as family member by circumstance, and Riggs owns the bar that a lot of them spend their time at. Clay and Riggs both knew each other years ago in high school as they were figuring out who they were and were each other’s first and have just recently fallen into each other’s orbit again. When the story starts both are in a place where they feel they don’t have time for a relationship – Riggs because he is giving his all to his bar and is still recovering from a toxic marriage and Clay because he is raising his Aunt’s three children and doesn’t think he has time or room for another person in his life in a romantic way.
Although a novella, I felt like you really got to know these characters and I also loved getting to see how they interact with Clay’s kids. It really made this especially heartwarming for me. I’m loving this world and can’t wait for the next book!
