Incredibly emotional story with a lot of angst, action and suspense.
This is one of those books that just has “all the feels.” What a great addition to the Ravage MC series! Katie has led a very rough life due to having grown up in a cult and trying to get away from them eventually led to her being horribly traumatized. The end result is that she now suffers with what seems to be PTSD from that experience, and is having a horrible time moving on with her life. She doesn’t believe she deserves to be happy and is just going through the motions for her sister and her sister’s daughter. Dryerson, who served in the military with Katie’s brother in law and who is prospecting for Ravage with him, has his sights set on Katie. They had just been starting something when everything went down and since then, Katie has pushed him completely away.
I loved stories like this, where you really see how couples can work together to overcome great odds. This was an incredibly emotional story with a lot of angst, action and suspense. I just loved reading about Katie and Dry.
