Lots of angst and steam in this final installment!
Last Resort picks up right where Sweet Mercy left off. This third and final book in the trilogy has angst and steam, just as the first two, but I think my favorite of the series is Sweet Mercy. In this installment, we learn more of Emerson and what he went through and we get the conclusion to Daphne and his story. I love seeing the growth both of the make throughout the series and I definitely loved the angst and steam. Emerson’s pov at times was slightly chaotic, but that was a good representation for who he is what he is going through. I especially loved the deeper glimpse we get in this story of both Daphne and Emerson’s siblings and can’t wait to read more books on them.
