This was a low angst, sweet but very steamy sports romance!
Franny has moved to Dallas and taken a job with a station not connected to her family in order to prove herself – that she has the ability to be successful and not rely on her family’s name. Wilson has been labeled a “bad boy” of hockey and is struggling a bit under that title. Franny and Wilson couldn’t be more different – she is a very forthright and honest person about what she is feeling and thinking and bold in always stating exactly what she wants – not matter what it is. She comes from a very large, loving family and although she and her father are currently at odds with each other, she has always known love and trust with her family. Wilson is reserved, not sharing much of himself with anyone. He has never known the kind of family life that Franny has. The two of them, despite being so different and coming from such different experiences, have a chemistry neither can deny.
I really enjoyed Franny and Wilson and their story. Natasha Madison knows how to write engaging sweet romances. Despite taking place in a large city, this has a small town feel between the hockey players and all of the family members. This was a low angst, sweet but very steamy romance!
