Say It’s Forever by A.L. Jackson

This was a suspenseful, single parent, close proximity romance. Both Salem and Jud have tragic pasts that weigh on them and make moving forward in their lives difficult, but they also have an instant chemistry. Jud meets Salem when he comes upon her one night when her car has broken down in a storm. Turns out her brother works for him, and soon after meeting, Salem starts working there as well. Although I enjoyed the story there were pieces of it that were difficult to connect with. I loved that I couldn’t see the plot twist coming, took me by surprise which was great. But there was another piece of it in there that I felt like should have been foreshadowed more throughout the story, especially since it was first person point of view.
