Blurred Lines by Jessica Prince

Blurred Lines is Aurora and Callum’s story. Aurora moves to Redemption to be close and to and have the back of Lark, her best friend who everyone in town hated and erroneously blamed for Callum spending years in jail for dealing. Aurora is a very positive person, friends with everyone, always trying to have a positive outlook – she is definitely a very sunshine person. Callum used to be that kind of person, but prison has changed him and he is now reserved, keeps to himself and when around Aurora, who he is attracted to and who also represents for him his past life, downright grumpy. They wind up next door neighbors and in many ways this is a sort of enemies to lovers situation. Callum’s brother is marrying Lark, so the two of them spend quite a bit of time together and although Callum is very attracted to Aurora, he feels like she is too good for him and he needs to keep his distance, so is off-putting in all of their interactions.

This was a fun grumpy/sunshine read and I enjoyed the romance. Very steamy when they finally get together. I do wish thought that the ending was just a little less rushed and we had more time with them as a couple in their small town. Can’t wait for the next one in this series!
