Loved the characters and story!
This was such a great story! Addie has escaped her abusive home life with her father and is now trying to become more independent as she makes a life on her own. In her effort to continue to do new things, she agrees to a roommate, Beckett. Beckett also has own demons to face, and is finally home after being away for a long time. Addie and Beckett form a friendship and as they get to know each other and spend time together, it’s clear they are both drawn to the other.
I so enjoyed this story – it’s probably my favorite from Catherine Cowles so far. I found myself completely wrapped up in the characters and story and was excited to see how things would unfold and work out. There was a lot of depth to both the characters and the story and I very much appreciated that. I can’t wait now for the next two books in this series!
