Angsty but sweet at the same time!
For an MC romance that deals with some incredibly heavy topics, this is actually a really sweet romance. Kate is living a life that those around her aspire to, she seems to have everything. But in reality she is living in her own hell and one day she discovers that she can’t do it anymore and takes off. This leads her to the Sons of Templar MC in New Mexico and Swiss. Swiss has a tragic past and up until now has never wanted anything more from a woman than a single night. However, one look at Kate and things change for him.
This was an intense, angsty romance because of all the secrets that Kate is hiding from those in her life, and at some point you know they have to come out. At the same time the relationship with Swiss is sweet and heartwarming and Swiss is now probably my favorite member of this MC!
I loved how this story played out and if you angsty and sweet romances then this is for you – but definitely be aware that this deals with some heavy topics that can be triggering for some.
