Such a heartfelt, sweet romance!
As always, Carly Phillips knows how to suck you in and deliver a heartfelt romance with all the feels. I’m a sucker for a surprise pregnancy, and one night stand, casual relationships turned into more. I loved how they met, with each of their significant others embarking on an affair with each other. It was fun reading about not just Knox and Jade, but the members of their family – they were weaved in seamlessly. The only thing that threw me was that somewhere along the way I had been given the impression this was a workplace romance, but it really wasn’t so I had to adjust my expectations accordingly since workplace romances come with a different kind of angst and potential drama that just wasn’t there here. However, I still loved reading this and can’t wait for the next one!
