This is the third book in the Adventures in Love series, and I’ve enjoyed all of them so far. Maverick and Jade are the final couple. We met Jade in the first book as she is best friends with Cybil, so when Jade’s life implodes in a big way, she packs up and moves to live near Cybil to try and find her way again. Maverick is best friends and business partners with Tanner, Cybil’s husband, so when Jade gets stuck in a snow storm on her way into town, Maverick comes to the rescue. Their attraction to each other is evident from the beginning, but both resist it. Jade’s choice in men has left her not wanting to jump in anything, and Maverick is carrying baggage from his childhood. However, before long, neither can resist the attraction. This is a very sweet, heartfelt small town romance. It’s a very low angst love story and a great addition to the series.
