Lots of intense action and steam!
Although I’ve read all the books in the Reloaded series, I’m still fairly new to this Masters & Mercenaries world. No Time to Lie is Drake and Taylor’s story, but continues the storyline of Julia, who has been obsessed with Kyle and the big bad that that everyone has been fighting off for several books now. In this one, Drake and Taylor meet when one of his missions goes awry and they are thrown together. They have one night together before everything falls about and neither are sure they can trust the other, and now, eighteen months later they are thrown back together with a common target: Drake’s sister, Julia and The Consortium. Taylor and Drake have a lot of chemistry and we see them spending time together, but the book was very dialogue-heavy at times. That being said, the highlight of the book was Big Tag trying to help Drake work out how to get on track on with Taylor. LOVED that. I also love that get a bit in the end that has me desperately ready to read Kyle and MaeBe’s book, which is the next one to come!
