This book had so many things in it that are normally hard no’s for me and can cause me to dnf a book, and yet I absolutely LOVED reading it. It was complete debauchery in several places and I kept wondering, how can this hero possibly be redeemed and where can the happy ever after possibly come from? I love that Cassandra Robbins writes such flawed characters that manage to completely grab me and keep me desperate to see what will happen next with them and what they will do, and Power was no exception to this. Jett Powers in unapologetic in knowing who he is and what he is about, and that he goes after exactly what he wants. I loved that Cassandra Robbins doesn’t miraculously change who he is or what he is about, it’s just what he wants and what he decides to go after that changes. This was such a fun and entertaining story for me and I highly recommend it if you enjoy age gaps, jealous and protective heroes and your romance to be steamy and dirty.
