Engaging and gripping!
I’m loving this series! Laurel Snow is back in her hometown again hunting for another serial killer. She has had to pair up again with Huck Rivers, a Fish and Wildlife captain with whom she worked with her on her last case in the area just a month before. Complicating things is that Laurel’s newly discovered half-sister is a possible target for this serial killer.
This was an engaging and gripping mystery from start to finish. It starts off right away throwing you into the thick of the situation and moves quickly from there. Laurel is a fascinating character, with her inability to pick up on social cues and her taking things so literally, but seeing things most don’t and her ability to profile. I was completely caught up in this story and didn’t want to put this book down, and loved that it’s not easy to solve the mystery. I can’t wait for next one!
