Loved this one!
This was such a great read! I wasn’t sure at first what to make of a reverse grumpy sunshine, but I should have known not to worry because Layla Frost is just that good. Hollywood is everything I love in a hero- he is alpha, growly, protective and possessive. He is a brother in the Court of Mayhem and coming back from home exhausted only to see for the first time Mac, who is moving in to the house next to him. When he realizes she is very pregnant and hauling her things out of the Uhaul on her own, he heads over to introduce himself and help her out.
Finding Mayhem was so lovely to read. We see how Mac and Hollywood get to know each other over time, and reading how Hollywood was so attentive and protective of Mac, despite how closed off she is and how slow she is to warm up to him made for a great story. This also fits a lot of requests when readers want stories where the Hero will come in and not care about not being the birth father of a baby or child of the heroine’s. I’m really hoping we get to see more of the Mayhem brothers in books to come!

Layla Frost has always been a rebel. A true badass.
