Thorns by L.H. Cosway

Thorns is book two in the Blood Prophecy series, a young adult fantasy series and takes you on along with Darya as she goes undercover into the Prison of Thorns to uncover who tried to frame her for murder. I’m usually not a fan of love triangles, but I’m absolutely loving this series. This has a lot of what I like and look for when I book up fantasy/paranormal books set in either academies or prisons. Darya meets up again with Vasilios and Sven and has to figure out if she can prove Vasilios is behind framing her, or if things aren’t at all what she thought they were. As we follow along on her journey in the Prison of Thorns, we meet a whole cast of new characters that are both intriguing and entertaining and read as both Vasilios and Darya try to fight their intense chemistry. The cliffhanger at the end has me anxiously awaiting the next book in this series, Blaze, which releases in April. Can’t wait for that one!
