Wasted Time by Jennifer Hanks

Becs is the princess of the Sinners MC. Her brother is their President, and everyone there adores her. She had her eye on Race from the moment he first walked into the clubhouse, but through a misunderstanding they become more enemies than anything else. Becs finds herself in a situation where she is needing protecting and Race is there to offer it.

This was a slow burn romance that hit a lot of the tropes I most enjoy. We have Becs overhearing Race talking about her in an unflattering way, early on in the story we learn she is pregnant with no baby daddy in the picture, but we do get Race stepping up for her and her baby in a big way, which is just touching to see. Although these characters have insta-love for each others, it’s a long time before they admit as such to each other and we get to watch them really work for their relationship to grow and build.

This is the Sinners MC so you also have a lot of suspense occurring around them and the clubhouse and the situations that they are in. I actually haven’t yet read the first two books in this series, but it didn’t matter at all. I get the sense this storyline runs sort of parallel a bit to the other two and now can’t wait to go back and read those. Wasted Time was another great love story from Jennifer Hanks!
