Fantastic start to a new series!
I made a mistake and read a few reviews before reading this one and went in unsure what to expect. I really need not have worried. It’s clear those reviews were from readers who had never read her before and were expecting a YA Fantasy romance, and this is definitely not that. I absolutely loved this introduction to a new series. It had everything I love in a Suzanne Wright book – a steamy, take charge alpha male, a heroine who is a bad ass but in a more subtle, witty way, steamy chemistry that burns up the pages and a host of side characters that make for great entertainment. I loved all the action that takes place as they deal with the evil bad in their world, and the surprises that come up along the way. I can’t wait now for the next in the series!
