Rollercoaster of emotions – such a great story!
Bleeding Chaos takes you on an emotional rollercoaster with the gamut of emotions – it’s heartbreakingly sad at times, angsty others, and yet incredibly sweet and romantic in others. Gage has been through hell over the years and is just sort of drifting through his life, numbing his emotions, when he meets Sadie, who has been through some of the worst things someone can be through. Eventually, when Gage takes a turn towards his lowest point, and pushes Sadie away, she walks away while pulling herself together. The story picks up again many months later, when Gage has finally turned things around and started really living his life and he discovers Sadie has had his baby and he needs to find a way back into their lives.
Since the first book in the series, I’ve been wanting Gage’s story, and Bleeding Chaos didn’t disappoint. Despite how angsty and emotional the first part of the book is, it’s really sweet, heartfelt romance and two people who have been through some of the terrible things life can throw at you, and then learning how to heal and forge a new life together. Definitely pay attention to the triggers for this story, which can be found on the author’s website.
