Good Time Boyfriend by Carrie Ann Ryan

I loved the way this one opens – loved the funny meet cute and really enjoyed all of this story from start to finish. Devney has is smack in the middle of her ten, yes ten, siblings. Her five older stepsiblings want her to find the happiness they have with their own spouses and children so to get them to stop setting her up with people she invents a boyfriend – they bar owner she saw at a bar owner and couldn’t get out of her head. Of course then when she invents the mutual break up a year later, they show up at his bar to play the protective older siblings and play along with Devney’s lies. Thus begins their “fake dating” relationship that unbeknownst to each feels more real than anything they have done before.

Good Time Boyfriend was a lot of fun, not just because of the fake dating and family antics, but because of meeting all of Heath’s family and Devney’s friends, all of whom I’m hoping will get books of their own during the course of this series! There are heavier moments in this story since Heath has his own issues with his toxic parents and the damage they’ve inflicted on him and his siblings, and Devney also has some issues being the middle child of such a large group of siblings. Definitely makes for a fun and interesting story!
