Deeply emotional and yet also lighthearted and fun.
Broken is the third book in the Th Four, a paranormal series about the four horsemen. I’ve only recently discovered this series which is a departure from this author’s typical books. I’ve really enjoyed each of these books – which I recommend reading in order. There is a lot of fun, witty banter and great lines in this one. I loved the insta connection that occurs between Lilith and Lennon and the first half of the book as they are getting to know each other. Things kick into high gear partway through when Lennon discovers the truth of who he is and everything starts to fast track with the paranormal aspects. Broken runs the gamut from lighthearted and fun to deeply emotional and sad and everything in between and makes for a bit of an intense read as you live through those emotions with these characters.
At the best of times, I was crap at relationships—and we were far from the best of times.
Warning: This series is meant to be read in order. Broken picks up where Stoned left off, so start at the beginning and enjoy the hot… magicks.
