Such a beautiful romantic love story!
Before This Ends was such a beautiful love story from start to finish. Emma has just recently become single and comes into contact with Miles who is the brother of her best friend’s boyfriend. When Miles gets into a jam and needs someone to help watch his daughter while he is working, Emma comes to the rescue and they begin spending more and more time together. I loved how sweet and beautiful this story was, we see their relationship develop from first meeting, casually coming into contact with each other, to spending more time together until things move into more. I was looking for a book with a protective and caring hero when I happened to pick this up, and it fit that perfectly. We also get to see a possessive, jealous side to Miles and I loved those moments. All was not smooth sailing for the two of them as they both have complications in their lives for various reasons that need to be worked through, which leads to some angsty moments. Before This Ends has a little of everything, suspense and mystery with Miles work and the case he is working on, slow burn but when things get going they are definitely steamy, and we also get a really great heartfelt romance. HIGHLY recommend this one.
