Perfect start to a new series!
Raven and Remy have always had an attraction for each other that they have each danced around since Raven first came to work in the bar Remy co-owns. At a wedding, they finally decide to give in. Raven for what she thinks is a friends with benefit situation, but Remy is really just playing the long game. Raven has a huge complication in her life due to secrets she has been keeping, and with those hanging over her head she is unwilling to consider anything serious with anyone, fearing it could bring trouble into her life. However, not long after Remy and Raven given in to their temptation, those secrets come calling.
I loved how well the mystery and suspense aspect was interwoven into their love story. This author always does such a good job of adding in lots of side characters that work really well for the story and then leave you wanting more of their stories by the end! I’m now wanting several more stories after finishing this one!
