Sweet love story. 3.5
Summer left her home and family behind and took refuge with her Aunt in Bitterroot Valley after she discovered her best friend in bed with her boyfriend and realized she wasn’t living the life she really wanted to. There she worked in her Aunts flower shop, eventually taking over the business. She has always felt an attraction to Chase Wild, a police officer born and raised there, but she wasn’t ready for anything when they first met, however five years later things are different. They are finally thrown together when Summer hears someone trying to break in to her home and calls the police, and we have a bit of suspense as she keeps having issues with someone targeting her.
I really loved both Summer and Chase and their love story is very sweet. I also really loved the glimpses we get of characters from previous books and books to come. Although I really enjoyed parts of their story and the side characters, it was 3.5 stars.
Chasing Wild is a standalone, contemporary romance novel, and book two in the picturesque Wilds of Montana series.
