Reese is completely devastated when she discovers her boyfriend in bed with her stepsister. Although they had only recently started dating, he had been her best friend for years so the hit from this was hard. Reese immediately starts making plans to get out of town and start over somewhere new. She ends up moving to Florida to live with her Aunt whom she has always been close to and make her new life there. Brodie comes to her rescue at the pool one day, and thus begins their friendship. They start spending all of their time together and growing a close friendship. Brodie finds Reese have no clue who he is refreshing as he is heavily pursued by those who only care about being with a hockey star.

This was a lot of fun to read. We get to really watch as Reese and Brodie get to know each other and grow from friends into something more. Despite being fun and steamy, it’s also a really sweet romance.
