Northern Twilight by Samantha Young

Northern Twilight is my favorite of the series so far! I absolutely loved reading this one. Callie and Lewis were high school sweethearts and at the start of their story it’s years later and you know something happened to break them up before leaving high school, but not what. Callie is just moving back home after being in France for a few years for school, and we know she is hesitant about being back home because of her memories of Lewis there. Lewis feels very similarly. They end up reconnecting one night, but not repairing the relationship, and soon after Callie discovers she is pregnant.

I really enjoyed the process of reading this one. I loved all the characters that made an appearance from previous books and they fit in really well in this story and were fun to see. Lewis and Callie felt very real in some ways. Both are flawed characters and bear fault in what went wrong with them the first time around and I liked seeing how they work through what happened before with them and how to be a couple together in an adult relationship.
