Quiet Longing by L.H. Cosway

Absolutely loved reading this one. Charli first meets Rhys after high school when she travels from Boston to stay with her cousins in Ireland for the summer. I lived there first half of the book as they get to know each other. It’s everything I love in high school and college romances as she spends time with her cousins and their friends and her friendship with Rhys develops into more. But when summer ends they each go off on to the next stage of their lives. The story picks up again sixteen years later when after a disastrous marriage and divorce, Charli heads back to Ireland to heal and for a fresh start. There Rhys and Charli find themselves back in each others lives as they are working together again.

This was such a well done and beautiful story. The characters and story were complex and both Rhys and Charli had a lot of things to work through throughout the course of the story. I loved how this progressed and just lost myself in these characters.
