Absolutely ADORED this couple and their story!
I absolutely adored this book. Deacon is my favorite kind of hero. He is quiet and reserved but steadfast and resolute when he makes his mind up. Phoebe is the exact opposite in many ways, optimistic and sunshine and persistent, especially when it comes to Deacon. I loved their story and how it unfolds and they come together. I always think this author can’t possibly top the current book I’m reading but then the next one comes along and she somehow manages to blow me away. I can’t wait for more of this family’s stories and will definitely be rereading this one at some point!
