There With You by Samantha Young

I wasn’t at all sure what to expect since our introduction to Regan in the previous book made it difficult for me to see how she would be someone I could get on board being the heroine of a love story. However, I should have known not to doubt this author – she absolutely redeemed her from almost the beginning, and I was rooting for her all along. Ultimately this story, and it seems this series, is really about family and all the complexities that can come along with them. I love single dad romances, and also age gaps and I very much enjoyed reading this.

What I loved the most about this book, and the first one in the series, is really getting to know the characters – a lot of time is spent in learning who they are and building their relationships so you feel very connected to them and can feel their angst and pain right along with them. This is a heartfelt romance with intense chemistry, a lot of steam and suspense! Can’t wait for the next one in the series.
