This was such an emotional read- I loved it!
I couldn’t wait to get Mavis and Murphy’s story after our glimpses of their chemistry in No Rep. At the start you learn that Murphy, despite his intense attraction to Mavis, holds her responsible for his mom losing her job and being homeless years ago. However, he has other reasons for wanting to keep Mavis at arms length.
I’m loving this series, focused around Madd CrossFit, and the glimpses we got in this of some of the others whose stories I’m sure are coming, left me intrigued! This is definitely one of the more emotional books from Lani Lynn Vale.
