Loved getting back to The Society! A. Zavarelli and Natasha Knight have again written a dark, angsty and addictive story that draws you in and keeps you turning pages to see what happens next. This time we follow Mercedes, Santiago’s sister, and Judge, his closest friend. We were first introduced to them in The Society Trilogy and at the time I found the small hints we got of them intriguing. On the one hand, I was a little uncertain of Mercedes as she was so unlikable in that trilogy. But here you realize that she is a product of a toxic and tragic past and you get glimpses of her that show she isn’t what she appeared in those early glimpses of her. I almost screamed when I got to them end of this one, and can’t wait now for the next in the trilogy! This first installment was steamy and dark and I loved reading it.
