Quiet Types by L.H. Cosway

Quiet Types was a sweet, poignant and heartfelt romance that I couldn’t put down once I started. It’s a quiet kind of a story, which feels like an interesting way to describe a romance where one of the main characters is mute and literally can not speak. I became completely caught up in these characters, their lives and what happened to them to make them how they are when the story opens and I was fascinated by how their story unfolded. I almost didn’t want their story to end and am very happy to see we are definitely getting more from this world. In fact, I’m kind of hoping we get quite a few stories from this world because a lot of the side characters we meet throughout the story caught my interest and I definitely want more of them.

This story hit just right for several different tropes that I love, and that can be hard to come by. Shay is silent(although not by choice) and strong and protective. Maggie is shy and introverted and has had a difficult life, but perseveres despite the odds against her. I just really loved their romance and highly recommend reading this one!
