Angsty, steamy fated mates novella!
Frayed Bond is an angsty, steamy fated mates novella. If you haven’t read The Evelyn Maynard Trilogy, it’s a great introduction into that world of Vitals and Bonds. It slightly overlaps parts of the trilogy, but you don’t have to have read the trilogy to enjoy this one, and if you have read it, you will enjoy the glimpses of some of the favorite characters we get to see again.
When Frayed Bond opens, Oriana is frustrated at not having found her bonds yet, but then soon after stumbles upon two of her bonds. Her happiness is quickly eclipsed when she introduces them to each other only to find they not only already know each other, but can’t stand each other. What follows is an angsty romance as they have to figure out if they can work past this to be together as she has always dreamed of or be without them if they can’t make it work.
I really enjoy this world, and loved this novella. Oriana’s angst really comes across and I loved the dynamics at play as they had to figure things out.
