Phoenix by Sybil Bartel

Phoenix pulls you in right at the beginning and keeps you hooked until the end. I always love this author’s books, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint. We get to spend a lot of time with Isla and Phoenix together and I absolutely loved that even after the suspenseful and dangerous aspect to their situation was over, we are still getting to see them together and working through things. Usually we don’t get so much time with the couple as a couple together, and I was so happy to have that here. We also deal with some dark and difficult topics and emotions and I love how well this author handles all of those. I can’t wait now for the rest of the books in the series!
