My Brother’s Enemy by Tijan

This book was compelling and captivating, dealing with incredibly emotional topics alongside an angsty romance. I was sucked in fairly quickly and was incredibly frustrated when I had to put the book down because my real life and work intruded. I found myself completely caught up in Rain and Tyler and their situations both individually and together. This story deals with some really sensitive and difficult topics and they were handled beautifully. I loved the attention to detail this author gave to these and how deftly she handled such heartbreaking situations. I loved all the side characters we are introduced to along the way and was completely captivated being immersed in this world and was sad when the book came to an end.
